Bridges (suspension bridges, bicycle bridges, pedestrian bridges and railway bridges) with support structures and guard rail nets from Geobrugg are functionally and esthetically imposing and realizable in a short time. We develop them either in close collaboration with the planner or, if required, take care of the entire process from planning through to delivery and installation.
By using standard parts from our own factories, the bridges can be built quickly and economically.

Object

Architect

Project
Over the Inn crossing the Hungerburgbahn describes a dramatic double curve; two opposed curve sections of 82 m and 119 m plus a connecting straight of 38 m. The main bridge is a cable-stayed three-span unit with a total span of 212 m. The two 30 m high pylons are positioned on the outside curve of the line and are inclined outwards. From the pylons the main support is held by means of 8 inclined rope pairs. A unique link, combining the mountain and urban scenery.
